Go Forth & Conquer

I came across this post the other day, about what women should start doing again. http://thoughtcatalog.com/2013/5-things-women-should-start-doing-again/

In it, it mentions wearing fancy shit for no reason every day, which i find both liberating and completely impractical. Its not just women that should start dressing nice again, its men too. Everyone secretly wishes that they could put on that super smart suit or super pretty vibrant dress and not be judged or made to feel self conscious when they turn up to the local pub in it.

As a society, brainwashed by media etc, we've come to terms with the jeans and teeshirt combo as our default setting, which, don't get me wrong is great, but we're starting to get a bit boring with it all. Good dress sense makes you instantly attractive and more appealing as a person which is only a positive thing right?

If you want to wear the outfit that sits at the back of your wardrobe that you're too scared to ever put on in public. Now is your time. Have Bowie as your inspiration if you must. Do it, go forth and conquer and sod what anyone thinks, they're just jealous and probably fancy you. :P

Fancy Pants

Looking through magazines and TV programmes such as Project Runway/Catwalk we see lots of fancy designs and patterns everyday and think "Wow i love that dress/skirt/those trousers (as applicable) i wish i could pull that off for an everyday event." Well good news, YOU CAN! All you need is a bit of confidence and a 'sod what other people think, i look fab' attitude and hey presto, you become an overnight trend setter for your friends and fellow passers by.
I have recently fallen in love with crazy patterned trousers, and Topshop.com and H&M do amazing designs on the high street. When it comes to designer, Erdem never put a foot wrong when it comes to patterns.
